Dunedin Youth Guild is pleased to present a special opportunity for contributing to scholarships through a donation toward a chance to win the pictured original artwork by Anders Fernbach.

Anders is a graduate of New York Academy of Art and has kindly donated the 16×24 inch oil on canvas painting.

The artwork is based on the History Museum’s iconic bronze statue and was painted by and donated by Anders Fernbach for our “All Around the Town” scholarship event. We sincerely appreciate the History Museum for allowing the use of the statue and to Anders Fernbach for the donation of his time and talent in making this special opportunity possible.

The limited edition set of the “All Aboard” sculptures was originally created for the Dunedin Historical Society and Museum by the sculptor Randolph Rose Collection. The sculpture set , donated to the museum by Melba Rilott, depicts a train conductor calling out to passengers while a mother and child rush to catch the train; and represents Dunedin’s Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Depot in 1924.
