WHO:
The Dunedin Youth Guild is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. We were founded on March 16, 1964 and incorporated on September 9, 1964. Our mission is to serve the youth of the greater Dunedin area and support the civic and cultural progress of greater Dunedin.
WHAT:
For over fifty years, the Dunedin Youth Guild has assisted the youth of Dunedin with scholarships and youth-focused community improvement projects. In 2013, the Dunedin Youth Guild was proud to create a new playground in Weaver Park. Yearly, we award over $30,000 in grants to local schools and scholarships for continuing higher education.
WHEN/WHERE:
We meet September through April on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1620 Pinehurst Road, in Dunedin. We conduct two renowned fundraisers per year – our Holiday Tour of Homes and the Scholarship Fashion Show Luncheon. If you are interested in joining the Dunedin Youth Guild, we invite you to come to our monthly meeting.
